Meet Lori Truetzschler Davis. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1997 from St. John’s College in Springfield, IL. I worked in Women’s Health as a Labor and Delivery nurse until 2011, when I started as a Nurse Injector at a medspa in Illinois. Through this position, I was able to receive extensive training in the use of many of the dermal fillers, neurotoxins, and in several other facial rejuvenation techniques. I have really enjoyed aesthetics and helping my patients look and feel their best.

In 2016, I received my Master’s Degree in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. I continued to practice as an injector. As much as I enjoyed what I was doing, I began to become painfully aware of the issues with access to care for patients suffering from psychiatric conditions. I felt like I was being drawn to follow that path. In 2019, I received my Post-Graduate Certificate, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from University of Missouri-St. Louis and began my practice in psychiatry. I have the best of both worlds as I have continued to practice aesthetics while also practicing in outpatient psychiatry.

I am truly passionate about improving access to care for patients who are dealing with psychiatric conditions.

We were fortunate to be able to make the move here from Illinois in 2020 when my husband accepted a position in Colorado Springs. When not working, my husband and I stay busy with our 5 children who range in age from 22 down to 11.  We enjoy hiking and playing soccer.
