Dr Haight utilizes his exceptional experience in managing sports medicine injuries and international competition to provide diagnostic evaluation of sports medicine injuries and ultrasound guided regenerative injections, specifically prolotherapy and Platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
He uses a patient’s own concentrated platelets to accelerate the healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints. Platelet-rich Plasma (PRP) injections are prepared by taking several tubes of your own blood and running it through a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets. His system, the Arthrex Angel System, concentrates platelets up to 18X, providing exceptional results for osteoarthritis, degenerative tendonosis, and various other sports injuries.
Dr Haight is a Board-Certified Family and Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician who trained with the Uniformed Services Primary Care Sports Medicine Program, while serving 22 years in the Army. He studied with the prestigious Robert P. Nirschl Sports Medicine Clinic and covered Georgetown University Athletics to learn advanced sports diagnostic and treatment skills.
After finishing his Fellowship, Dr Haight was selected as Team Physician for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, the 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games, Chief Medical Officer for the United States for the Military World Championships in 2015, and as a Team Physician for the 2016 Rio De Janeiro Summer Olympic Games.
